Don’t Post Once: Our Exact Checklist for Every Award, Feature, or Press Mention

If you win an award or get featured and only post it once… you’re leaving a ton of value on the table.

At Urban Betty, we treat every win like a marketing opportunity.

Because it’s not just about being great—it’s about being seen.

The Checklist We Use Every Time We Get Featured

1. Update the Website

Add it to your press page immediately. This builds long-term credibility and helps with SEO.

2. Post on Instagram

Create a post AND share it on your stories. If you have a salon or business, make sure to add that page as a collaborator. Add the link in your bio temporarily so people can click through. When sharing it on your stories, don’t forget to link back to the win on your press page to help boost your SEO.

  1. Share on Facebook

Post it on both your personal and business pages. People connect with people.

4. Post on LinkedIn

This is huge for credibility. Share it from both your personal and business profiles.

5. Share on X (Twitter)

Quick, easy, and still valuable for visibility. Again, both your business and personal page. I like to post on my personal account and repost on my business account.

6. Send an Email Blast

Let your guests know. This reinforces trust and keeps your brand top of mind.

7. Write a Blog Post

This is where it all lives long-term. It helps your SEO and gives you something to link back to again and again. This can live on your website in several places. Blast it from the rooftops!

Why This Matters

Most people focus on winning.

We focus on what happens after the win.

Because when people are checking you out (and they are), this is the kind of content that builds trust before they ever walk in.

The goal isn’t just to win.

The goal is to turn one win into visibility everywhere! And when you win your next award, send me a DM I want to celebrate it with you.
